En route to Porto

Hector here:

Currently sailing through the black and starlit night. We've the headsail up, main down, a good northerly blowing us down the Portuguese coastline. It's my watch, so I'm alone in the night with the sound of the waves, the rocking of the boat and the stars. I can see the stars' clouds.

Part way through writing that, whilst reclined in the cockpit, I was splooshed on the head.

Side note: I forgot to include in my last update that we did our first "man overboard" drill the other day. After two attempts picking up fenders tossed overboard, Andy asked if I'd like to do another, then promptly jumped in. It must have been strange for him, floating in the ocean, seeing his boat sail away with me at the helm. He's a trusting man. Fortunately I managed to return and collect the skipper, it was all rather fun.

So jealous, loved being on the boat in the west coast at night with the stars and peace and quiet. Enjoy!

Well done on retrieving him Hector! I am beginning to realise this is a recurring habit of his! He wouldn't have done it if he didn't have every confidence you would be back!!
